For example, let's say our model number is " MC922LL/A". To make searching this page easier, the first letter is always " M" and the " region" portion and everything after is removed (leaving us with the first five characters of the string). Currently, there are four known possible choices: The first letter in the model number represents the source of the device. Depending on the software displaying the string, there may be a slash (" /") followed by a character. Afterwards is either one or two characters representing the " region" of the device's origin. It’s $50 difference to make a world of a difference using your $600 device.IOS runs on various different models of devices. It’s summer and you’re a student, I’m sure you can find the difference between the Apple Pencil2 and a Crayon before September. Sell some old clothes or video games or…, cut some grass, do some summer landscaping, offer to baby sit a neighbors kids, whatever. If it was me, I’d do whatever it takes to get the Pencil2. Couple of things- understand budgeting so there’s that.
